Living by the Words - Characteristics Of Happy People-1

"Words are free. It's how you use them that may cost you."

Words are the reason that one person lives a life of abundance while another person lives a life of lack. Words can open doorways that hands can not. Our languages have these precious gifts which are not merely words but are characteristics itself to live an happy life.

Here are some words which are  core characteristics happy people seem to share in common.

1.  Accountability

"Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else." Les Brown

The first and most important step toward success and happiness is the decision to take full responsibility for our actions and associated consequences.
People tend to externalize when they encounter problems—to look beyond themselves and find fault with others when things go wrong. Society's mantra is "There's plenty of blame to go around!" You can hear it echo in the reactions to the election. But when we choose to hold ourselves accountable, we're more likely to be happier and successful in work and in our relationships.
Life is filled with traps that let people avoid personal accountability. It's easy to make excuses, play the victim, feel a sense of entitlement or procrastinate. Taking ownership for your actions and reactions lets you avoid anger, cynicism, envy and frustration and instead focus on positive emotions and healthy living.
Once you accept total responsibility for everything that happens to you in life, you will soon discover that this also enables you to find solutions to life’s difficulties far more quickly, In accepting responsibility, you are accepting a willingness to develop your character and in doing that, the stronger your character will become and your life will be improved as a consequence. You will feel less stressed Increased productive, better time management, improved relationships and overall well being.

"Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” - Gautam Budh

2.  Adaptability

“The measure of a person’s strength is not his muscular power or strength, but it is his flexibility and adaptability.” -Debashish Mridha

Adaptability doesn’t just mean learning a new language or adaptive to different weather conditions. It means a whole lot of changes that happen in the mind – in the process of successfully mastering a new situation.
Adaptability is important because people are different and need to be treated differently. You develop open and honest relationships with others by being tactful, reasonable, and understanding.
“Our ability to have life satisfaction, to be happy and to have good relationships really depends on our ability to adapt.”
Being adaptable means not feeling hopeless and helpless in the face of change. If you are adaptive than even if you can't change the situation, you have figured out the key to being happy regardless of your circumstances.
With adaptability, you can treat people the way they want to be treated.

“It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.”-Charles Darwin

3.  Appreciation

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing. It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” ― Voltaire

Appreciation is the one thing we can do in our lives that influences everybody around us and even those that are not around us. It is so little and moderately simple for us, yet can make one of the greatest effects on our general surroundings. Appreciation is one characteristic that we can figure out how to have and use that would dependably have a positive effect on those we come into contact with.
People who are appreciative are less materialist and less envious. In particular, appreciative people are more willing to part with their possessions, more generous with them, less envious of the material wealth of others, less committed to the idea that material wealth brings happiness.
Appreciation is a mindful affirmation of all that we have been given. When we concentrate on the wealth in our lives, we find a more noteworthy limit with regards to generosity, cheerfulness, and happiness.
Offering thanks is a rewarding habit that affirms the beauty of the provider. Appreciation opens our hearts, encourages us to enjoy each blessing that comes our direction, and mysteriously liberates us from desirously guarding our belonging. It gives us a chance to commend today as opposed to sitting tight for the following level of achievement or riches.
This word is motivational, carrying a huge power inside and can turn negative thoughts into positive. This is the magic of appreciation.
With more appreciation for others and their uniqueness we would be able to better learn from each other and combine our intelligence.

“Appreciation can make a day - even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary. -- Margaret Cousins

4.  Affection

“Affection is responsible for nine-tenths of whatever solid and durable happiness there is in our lives.”- C. S. Lewis

Affection produces feelings of intimacy, security, significance, and respect in a relationship. Affection results in the tender feelings. from our early childhood we need affection to live a healthy and happier life.

Affection  is a disposition or state of mind or body that is often associated with a feelings or type of love. Affection is popularly used to denote a feeling or type of  love, amounting to more than goodwill or friendship. Generally the word affection is used to refer the distinct states of feeling, both lasting and spasmodic
Helpful emotions are much more likely to surface when the mind is not preoccupied with emotions rooted in craving and aversion, emotions that all too often distort our perception of the world. Among all the helpful emotions  affection is extremely important. It ensures that a personal life is rooted in healthy relationships with other people and with other forms of life. It also helps create optimal inner conditions for the heart to relax into the peace.

The fact is that people are good, Give people affection and security, and they will give affection and be secure in their feelings and their behavior.” =Abraham Maslow

Be gainful don't dawdle; don't wait on uncertainties and buts. Try not to tons of what can turn out badly. Rather, concentrate on being more gainful, more eager and more energetic. You surely will find a life filled with happiness.

"Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
Find ways and means to increase your productivity, set goals (both long term and short term) set daily routines, surround yourself with positive and productive people, and take forward steps towards your advancement, no matter how small it may be. Don't allow anyone to distract yourself from your purpose.

Here are 4 ways to be more productive.
1.Stay passionate

You got to really be passionate and try to prepare more than anyone else, and put yourself in a position to succeed. Having a passion for an activity represents an important type of high involvement in activities that may lead to sustainable positive effects on your performance and your well being.   You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. — Steve Jobs

There is nothing like doing a work you love most and always wanted to do it's just not only engage you physically but mentally as well. It is like self inspiration to do well.
But often we have to do work which is often not of our liking and are only doing it because of circumstances or situations.

If you are doing anything which doesn't inspires you. How can you expect it to bring any fruitful result for your life?

You might have a living with it but you cannot live your life to your fullest. Your life is more than just adding numbers to your age. Don’t trade your life and time merely for money, either you must find a way to work for what you love or you need to develop love for the work you are currently doing.
You are what you do. If you do boring, stupid, monotonous work, chances are you’ll end up boring, stupid, and monotonous.-Bob Black

Let God Carry Us!

Letting Go and letting God is a phrase that is heard throughout the Christian community but taught by every religion.

To Truly understand what does it actually mean to " let go and let God". First, understand what it does not entail. To let go and let God does not mean you are a failure, it does not imply that you are powerless or that you are throwing in the towel and calling it Quits. To let go and let God means that we have taken inventory of our lives and have determined to let go of the excess baggage. We have learned to let go of the weight that so easily beset us. We have to accept the fact that we are not in control of our lives, God is. He is more capable of handling our problems than we are.

Let go and let God means to make a total surrender to God’s will for our life. Surrender to His plans for our lifetime. Follow on His course for our situation and circumstance on Him because he cares for us!
God is calling on us to believe Him. Give our burdens to Him. Stop trying to carry them ourselves.
Scripture text commands us to give it to God. It says to “cast all our cares on Him for He (God) cares for us. In other words, surrender it to God. Whatever your “IT” may be on today, God is saying, “Give it to me!”
We cannot control how others treat us, we cannot hold the unexpected things that are thrown at us in life, but we can control how we respond to them. I think that our response to life’s situations is exactly what God expects us to work on. He desires us to cast every situation and circumstance on Him because he cares for us!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."-Philippians 4:6(NIV)
It only means that we should develop our Faith towards the supreme power and eliminate any fear in our life as our father in the heaven is there to take care of our lives.
It means to come into alignment with infinite ability, to put our lives in his hand.
Letting go takes us out of control, removes the drama around our problem, and leaves us with nothing to stress about or to work upon. The good news about that is that it takes us in  control, to maintain our mind more relaxed and centered. It gets rid of the drama around our problem,  and leaves us with nothing to stress about or act upon!
Letting Go letting God never meant to stop  pursuing your heart desires, your passion, to stop working toward a nobler, grander life. it doesn't  meant to sit idle doing nothing and wait for God to do everything.

Let go let God in true meanings is to remove anxiety you associate with your life by false beliefs impressed upon your mind by society, environment or your past experiences. To remove unnecessary drama, the anger, the hurt which is causing you pain thus stopping you from living a life you deserve.

"Let go of anger. Let go of pride. When you bound by nothing. You go beyond sorrow. - Gautama Buddha

It sure did give us peace of mind.
Every moment is a chance to let go and feel peaceful.
Here are 3 ways to get started;
 1.Develop Faith
 2.Be Grateful
 3.Stay Relaxed

“When I Let Go of what I was I became what I might” -Lao Tzu

Surrendering to God will banish any anxiety, stress ,worry or fear from our  lives permanently .Trusting his will, having faith that what is true and just will be taken care by him is the true essence of Letting Go Letting God And a path to a life more successful and filled with Happiness.

सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्यो: समो भूत्वा समत्वं योग उच्यते ||

yoga-sthaḥ kuru karmāṇi saṅgaṁ tyaktvā dhanañjaya
siddhy-asiddhyoḥ samo bhūtvā samatvaṁ yoga uchyate
"Be steadfast in the performance of your duty, O Arjun, abandoning attachment to success and failure. Such equanimity is called Yoga."
Yoga means to concentrate the mind upon the Supreme by controlling the ever-disturbing senses. And who is the Supreme? The Supreme is the Lord.
Shree Krishna advises Arjun to give up concern for the results and instead focus solely on doing a good job. The fact is that when we are unconcerned about the results, we are able to focus entirely on our efforts, and the result is even better than before.

God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Letting go and letting God is indeed the path that leads to true freedom

3 Steps to Happy Living.

Often, life can seem very overwhelming. When you are constantly being faced with one challenging situation after another, it can begin to feel exhaustive to continue trying. The feelings of hopelessness can be devastating. They can make you do things you wouldn't normally do and think things you wouldn't normally think. Hopelessness begins to exhaust our heart and steal our joy. Questions of being happy go outside of our life and replaces the thought of survival.
Is it really possible to stay lively and joyous after taking the beating of life? And if it is possible the big question is how?

But before going to find the answer how?

We first need to answer the basic question, what really Happiness is.

In philosophy, Happiness refers to good life, or flourishing, rather than simply an emotion.
According to science Happiness is a mental or enthusiastic condition of prosperity portrayed by positive or wonderful feelings extending from satisfaction to exceptional euphoria, An assortment of organic, mental, religious, and philosophical methodologies have endeavored to characterize joy and recognize its sources. Different research gatherings, including positive brain research, attempt to apply the logical technique to answer inquiries regarding what "Happiness" is, and how it may be achiev, in general human life is all about finding happiness ,we all do what we do to find happiness in all our life. It is what we do everything in life to attain.
For Some people having a handful of money is happiness for others it might be reverse, for some helping others is the real joy of life but for some it is not the case.
We try so many things in so many ways in life to be really happy, still majority of population lives their life without a pinch of it, so the question remains unanswered what makes us happy and is therefore really any guideline for what makes us happy?

This question is puzzling the majority of the population from ages.
Surprisingly the answer to this age old question is not as complicated as it seems, in fact the question itself holds the answer.

So now you are curious, aren’t you? Is it really as simple to be happy as I am telling you?

Yes it is so simple to be happy if you only can ask this question from yourself not from the people around you and answer it from your heart that what it is that makes you Happy. Happiness depends on our basic demands of our life, you need to dig down deep into your heart to find the right answer and then act accordingly to live a life filled with true Happiness.

Happiness is at the core of all our activities. Our prime motive in life is to be happy whatever we do we do it to be happy.

There are thousands and thousands of ideas and tools are available to guide you to attain the Primary motive of life “BEING HAPPY” but before you consider any of the idea to work for you, you must consider the fact that happiness is a choice rather than a goal.

Once you understand this basic fact than you can begin journey towards a happier life.

Here are some points for you to practice on day to day basis for a happier and healthier nobler life.

In my opinion there are three fundamental basics for living the life full of happiness. And if you involve them in your daily routine surely you will lead a happy life.

1.Gratitude

The most important factor in attaining a life full of "Happiness"is gratitude.
A lot has been written on the power of gratitude or gratefulness; of  being thankful for the blessings you have in your life instead of focusing on the things or situation which makes you uncomfortable. the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.it is an acknowledgement of all the good things we already have in our life.

“A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness. It is an expression of humility. It is a foundation for the development of such virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being.” James E. Faust

If  you Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you and to give thanks continuously because all things have contributed to your advancement soon you find your life becoming  less stressed and more joyous.

Make it a habit of saying thank you to each and everyone for smallest of acts. Expressing your thanks can really improve your overall sense of well-being studies show that grateful people are more agreeable, more open, and having less chances of  getting anxious or depressed.it not only makes your present condition improved but also fills your mind and heart with hope and faith for future.

“Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.”― Epicurus

2.Productivity

In my opinion, this is one major  attribute to make oneself Happy, a productive mind is a source of happiness. As it doesn't dwells into negativity. Productivity growth is a crucial source of development in existing standards.

Submit yourself to bettering yourself, take after your enthusiasm, create hard working attitudes. center and work towards a more amazing, nobler. more joyful life.Be gainful don't dawdle, don't wait on uncertainties and buts. try not to tons of what can turn out badly. Rather, concentrate on being more gainful, more eager, more energetic.

"Your time is limited so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
Steve Jobs

Find ways and means to increase your productivity, set goals (both long term and short term)set daily routines, surround yourself with positive and productive people, take forward steps towards your advancement, no matter how small it may be.
Don't allow anyone to distract yourself from your purpose.

3.Accountability

Another main consideration in carrying on with an appreciated life is accountability,to held ourselves liable for the happenings of live,of our deeds and our activities.
Being accountable is taking responsibility about how enthusiastic you are about your living. It's taking possession for living with purpose and values and building trust no matter what. When you lack accountability, you suffer. You feel disempowered, victimized and resentful. But if you keep yourself accountable for your life, how much you get done. You set yourself free of approval from others.

"Accept responsibility for your life. Know that it is you who will get you where you want to go, no one else." Les Brown

An absence of individual responsibility is at the core of unending anxiety. It saps us of efficiency. It consumes our time. It makes us less happy with our employments, our relations, and ourselves.

“If I could give one tip for people - it's not an exercise or nutrition regimen. It's to walk your talk and believe in yourself, because at the end of the day, the dumbbell and diet don't get you in shape. It's your accountability to your word.” Brett Hoebel

If you think someone or something other than yourself is responsible for your happiness or success, I'd guess you're not that happy or successful.

Remember!

It is you and only you who has to make a choice and live by it.

Power Up Your Productivity
